5 Outfits I Wore In August!

Hey, everyone. Hope you enjoy this blog entry. ^_^

Today I'm going to share 5 outfits I wore in August. The chosen outfits are the ones I wore at the start of the month. It goes without saying they are all very summery. I would like to apologize in advance for the repeat items. I currently don't have that much to work with. I promise that will change in the not so distant future. Gonna be doing a summer/fall haul very soon. Happy viewing.

Pink Messenger Bag- Walmart ($7)

Pink T Shirt- Sears ($10)

Butterfly Capri Leggings- Walmart ($4)

Pink Sneakers- Macy's ($50)

Starting this blog entry out with something cute and girly. I think this outfit is ideal for lounging around in or working out. What a contrast.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Black Circle Purse- Amazon ($30)

Black T Shirt- Amazon ($6)

Camo Shorts- Sears ($10)

Black Sneakers- Sears ($14)

Been loving this outfit. I probably sport it at least once a week on average. I might be at a loss when fall comes. The horror, the horror. XD

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Black Military Hat- Rite Aid ($10)

Black Circle Purse- Amazon ($30)

Color block Shirt- Amazon ($6)

Dark Blue Skinny Jeans- Hollister ($25)

Black Sneakers- Sears ($14)

Can't get over how cool this outfit is. I'm really digging the color block trend. It breathes new life into the fashion world.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Black Circle Purse- Amazon ($30)

Green Plaid Camisole- Walmart ($15)

Black Shorts- Charlotte Russe ($20)

Black Sneakers- Sears ($14)

This outfit is outright adorable. Perhaps I should have done a front tuck. The high waisted shorts are kind of hidden.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Backpack Purse- Amazon ($25)

Black Off The Shoulder Shirt- Macy's ($7)

Purple Overaall Dress- Amazon ($16)

Black Sneakers- Sears ($14)

Here's another cute way to style an overall dress. I feel matching off the shoulder tops compliment them nicely.

Life Updates: One- Summer Fun!

Hey, everyone. Hope you enjoy this blog entry. ^_^

Today I'm gonna discuss recent happenings. That occurred during the months of June and July. They involve my most recent mall trip, a summer carnival, a 4th of July cook in and a few random things, I've been doing during my free time. Not the most exciting life I know. Been kind of broke and busy. Really wish I could've traveled to New York or something. Time to start applying for sponsorships and whatnot.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Most Recent Mall Trip!

This outfit is the one I wore to the mall. I love the fact that it's cute, sporty and all about the color pink. Something different from what I usually wear. Funnily I had those pink shorts since I was in high school. Guess they are something that doesn't really go out of style. That and their quality is fantastic. Would you believe me if I said I got them from K-Mart? They couldn't have been much more than twenty dollars.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-What I wanted but couldn't get.

It really stinks to be poor. You can't buy much at all. Most of the time your struggling and you often wonder if stress will be the death of you. Just when you think you're getting ahead in life something often nips you in the butt and is like nope. Half the time you feel like your life isn't your own, cause you are stuck having to depend on others. Which is something that I hate doing. Hope to change my life for the better soon.

It goes without saying that I love all these things, why else would they be here? But there really is only one thing that I hold close to my heart. That would be the first blouse. Something so unique, that I'll probably never see anything like it again, in my lifetime. Am I overdramatic? Maybe, but that is just a part of who I am.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-What I did get.

Despite not having that much money to play with, I still got quite a few things. Thanks to Sears's membership program, it's frequent sales and Forever 21's low prices. Hence the stack of beautiful clothes before you.

Square Neck Crop Top- Forever 21 ($10)

Camo Shorts- Sears ($10)

Striped Shirt- Sears ($6)

Colorful Blouse- Sears ($10)

Pink Floral Romper- Sears ($16)

Lovely pieces, huh? They are all extremely trendy right now. The romper is my favorite, followed by the camo shorts, the striped shirt, the white top, and the colorful blouse.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-What I had for lunch that day.

Fully Loaded Nacho's ($6)

Can't go wrong with nachos. Especially the supreme kind. They are filling like a meal.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Summer Carnival!

My apologies for not taking that many pictures. I was worried about someone stealing my phone. It's not worth that much, but to me it's priceless.

The carnival that I went to was alright. It had a few rides, games, and goodies to choose from. Sadly everything was overpriced though, and I only had a small amount of money to play with. Winded up just playing two games and buying dinner. Which was a corn dog, and a strawberry milkshake. Both food items were decadent.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

4th Of July Cook In!

A 4th of July cook in, is the next best thing when your family doesn't own a grill.

Our meal consisted of black bean burgers, corn on the cob, and broccoli. Not the most exciting meal, but it was good. Extremely healthy too.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What Else Is New!

-I started working out not that long ago. I'm not overweight or anything, just need to improve my overall health. I have almost zero stamina, and that needs to change. I would like to look better too.

4 Outfits I Wore In July!

American Flag Purse- Payless Shoes ($10)

Hey, everyone. Hope you enjoy this blog entry. ^_^

For now on I'll be updating my blog every other Sunday. Starting today. I read somewhere about the importance of consistency, and how it can contribute to one's success. The hope is I can one day blog in place of a part-time job.

Today I'll be sharing what I wore recently. The chosen outfits are the ones I wore at the start of the month. I feel they all reflect summer perfectly.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pink Messenger Bag- Walmart ($7)

Casual Black Dress- Sears ($12)

Pink Sneakers- Macy's ($50)

What I love about this outfit is the dress. It's extremely versatile. It can easily be dressed up, or down with the proper accessories. This is my favorite way to style it.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Black Envelope Purse- Amazon ($20)

White Off The Shoulder Top- Amazon ($15)

Camo Shorts- Sears ($10)

Black Wedge Shoes- Amazon ($30)

This outfit is Ashley Brooke inspired. She's a popular fashion blogger on youtube. I admire her work. She truly is exceptional at what she does. You should check her out sometime. You won't be disappointed.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Black Circle Purse- Amazon ($30)

Striped Polo Shirt- Sears ($6)

Dark Blue Short Shorts- Hollister ($20)

Black Sneakers- Sears ($14)

Doesn't this outfit look familiar? It's a summer variation of an old creation.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

American Flag Purse- Payless Shoes ($10)

Red Camisole- Sears ($4)

White Shorts- Track 23 ($10)

Black & White Athletic Shoes- Famious Footwear ($60)

The legendary 4th of July outfit you've been waiting for is right here. (Presuming you had hopes of seeing one. =P ) Would have been complete with the addition of navy blue flip-flops. Unfortunately, I have no money to speak of right now. I'm currently between jobs. Maybe I should open (art) commissions again. Check out this post if you're interested in ordering something. I'm really good at drawing.
